Cruise Ships
Cruise Ship/Cruise Line:
Rhapsody of The Seas/Royal CaribbeanDestination/Date of Cruise:
Alaska - 6 August 2010My Review
If the travel agent had been honest from the start...we would not have booked the cruise.
We made it VERY CLEAR that we needed a smoke free environment.
We paid extra for a jr. suite w/sliding glass door and a balcony.
If she had just said.....if the people in the next cabin smoke on their balcony...you do not have any rights and you will not be able to OPEN YOUR DOOR.
Our concerns were immediately told to Royal Caribbean, but they did NOTHING all week long. We left like prisoners, could not enjoy our room and could never open out door.
Makes you wonder why some can do anything they want to, and honest people get no respect. We will NEVER work with Travel of America in Covina, CA or Royal Caribbean again.
Cruise Ship Cabins
Dirty...and could not use our balcony at all.
The room next door was booked by one elderly man...however, at 6:30 am every morning, three loud, out of control, screaming children were dropped off in his room, and we had to stay as far away from our room as possible. Again...Royal Caribbean did nothing.
Cruise Ship Dining and Cuisine
The only enjoyable part
Cruise Onboard Experience
A very boring ship...with little entertaining. If they had told us this was the ship to take if you were interested in their boring art auctions...we would not have booked this particular ship.
Cruise Ship Destinations
Juneau was beautiful.......Skagway railroad was nice...although it took the ship an extra 3 hours to be able to get to the dock....which really cut into our shore time.
Victoria was beautiful.
Too much time had to be spent on the boring ship.
