The common areas of the Wind Surf are pleasant and quite large for a ship this size. The Wind Surf
library was especially nice, with a good selection of books, CDs, and DVDs. The Wind Surf library on this 300-passenger ship was larger than the library on the 3000-passenger Carnival Liberty! Since I am a cookie-holic, I especially appreciated the cookies and juice in the library, which were a yummy mid-morning snack. The Wind Surf
gallery/promenade has tables for playing games or cards. At one end of the promenade near the reception desk is information and maps for the next port of call. The Wind Surf also has a nice Signature Shop, with jewelry, clothing, and sundries.
One of the biggest surprises was the large business/Internet center, which could be used for meetings, checking your email, or surfing the Internet. Because of its size, companies can charter the Wind Surf, have time for business meetings with their staff in a luxurious environment, and still have play time for socializing together.
