Hot coffee and tea are always available on the Viking Spirit at this refreshment station, located between the observation lounge and the reception area. Sweetened iced tea (but not unsweetened) and iced water were also provided. Each morning at about 6:00 am, "early bird" breakfast with juice and fresh pastries were offered. The ship is small enough that you could dash out and grab some early morning coffee and take it back to your room without even seeing anyone except whomever was at the reception desk!

Most evenings, there was a late night snack (at about 10 pm). My favorite late night snack was the Hungarian goulash soup served at our overnight in Vienna. It was spicy, but it didn't keep me up that night!
