A Day at the Estancia Santa Susana - Buenos Aires Cruise Ship Shore Excursion

If you ever travel to Argentina, one of the first questions people will ask upon your return is, "Did you see any gauchos?" Well, you are not likely to see any gauchos riding the streets of cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, so we took a tour 70 km outside of Buenos Aires to Estancia Santa Susana, an Argentina ranch. We enjoyed our first day in Buenos Aires with Ricardo De Franco of Defrantur Argentina tours so much we decided to book this tour to an Argentine ranch with his company. If you have an extra day in Buenos Aires, or want to see some of the traditional Argentine countryside, a visit to an estania like Santa Susana is certainly worth your time.
