Sometimes cruisers think that small ships do not have enough dining options. However, the Silver Whisper has three other dinner options. First, the Terrace Café was transformed each evening into La Terrazza, an Italian bistro with an alternative no-additional-cost dining experience. La Terrazza has limited seating to help maintain the intimate atmosphere and requires reservations. It was a different Italian menu each night, focusing on regional delicacies. Loving Italian food, we dined at La Terrazza three times, each time savoring the interesting differences in flavors from around Italy.
The Silver Whisper chefs also make The Restaurant full dinner menu available for room service each evening. And, for those seeking the ultimate in dining, the Silver Whisper wine room, Le Champagne, was available for private parties at a fee of $150, which covers the premium wines served with the fixed course menu.
If three meals are not enough, the Silver Whisper also has tea each afternoon in the Panorama Lounge from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Tea or coffee is served, along with hot scones, sandwiches, canapés, and desserts. It's very elegant and a touch that makes Silversea special.
