Silver Spirit - Silversea Cruises' Newest Ship the Silver Spirit

The Silversea Silver Spirit will be launched in late 2009 and christened in January 2010. Her inaugural voyage will be a grand one - sailing for 91 days from Fort Lauderdale around the tip of South America, north to Los Angeles, and back through the Panama Canal to New York. She will see much of the coastal Americas in her first few months.

Silversea Cruises provided these artist's renderings, and they show some of the special features of the new ship. The 36,000-ton Silver Spirit will indulge her 540 guests with the largest suites in the fleet. The onboard decor will lend a 1930s Art Deco ambience to the public spaces, highlights of which include an indoor/outdoor spa measuring 8,300 square feet (770 square meters), three whirlpools (two adjacent to outdoor pool, one in spa area), enriching performances in The Show Lounge, a choice of six dining venues including Seishin, a Japanese restaurant, and the Stars Supper Club, featuring live music, dancing and nightclub-style entertainment.
