We joined the Seven Seas Navigator in Lima, Peru for a cruise north through the Panama Canal and across the Caribbean to Fort Lauderdale. This cruise was the last leg of a circle cruise around the Pacific by the luxury cruise ship.

The Seven Seas Navigator had spent the summer cruising Alaska. The ship left San Francisco in mid-September for a 68-day circle cruise of the Pacific. The ship visited several exotic islands in the South Pacific and also ported at Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, and French Polynesia. The Navigator then embarked on a long, leisurely cruise across the Pacific. The Seven Seas Navigator reached Lima, Peru in mid-November, and we boarded her there for the last segment of the cruise up the western coast of South America through the Panama Canal and across the Caribbean, disembarking in Ft. Lauderdale. Before boarding, some passengers participated in a a pre-cruise extension to Cuzco (Cusco in Spanish) and Machu Picchu, the ancient city of the Incas.

Here is a look at the Seven Seas Navigator itinerary of our fascinating cruise up the western coast of South America from Lima. Click on each link for more information about the cruise.
