Seven Seas Mariner - Luxury Mid-Sized Cruise Ship

Regent Seven Seas Cruises' Seven Seas Mariner

By

The Seven Seas Mariner is a wonderful cruise ship. Carrying 700 passengers, the ship is a good size--not too big and not too small. Although the Seven Seas Mariner is considered a luxury ship, the onboard ambiance is relaxed and friendly. The almost all-inclusive (all tips and drinks included) fare is a tremendous plus to the Seven Seas Mariner cruise experience. And, since all of the accommodations are balcony suites, even the least expensive cabin is delightful.

I've had three marvelous cruises on the Seven Seas Mariner --

Although the most important factors in choosing a cruise are usually itinerary, cost, and the ship, many of us still want comfortable accommodations. Years ago, cabin features were way down the list of decision-making factors. However, times have changed. Cabin amenities have increased, and new ships have larger cabins and more balconies because cruisers have demanded it. In 2001, the first all-suite, all-balconied cruise ship--the Seven Seas Mariner--was launched. Several years later, the ship is still one of the best afloat. Let's take a look at the different cabin categories on the Seven Seas Mariner.

If you can't find a dining venue to suit you on the Seven Seas Mariner, you must not be hungry! The Mariner has six dining options, one of which should match the cravings of any cruiser. Whether dining in the traditional Compass Rose Dining Room, one of the specialty restaurants, or the casual grill by the pool, the cuisine and service on the Seven Seas Mariner is exceptional.

The Seven Seas Mariner is sleek, spacious, contemporary and elegant. It has one of the highest space to passenger ratios of any cruise ship, and passengers can always find a quiet spot onboard. The cruise ship provides each of the 700 passengers a memorable experience both in the suites and in the common areas. Wood, glass, and chrome give the ship its decidedly modern look. When you first enter the Mariner via the gangway to the reception area on deck 5, the powerful atrium soars above you all the way to deck 12, topped off with a large skylight dome and flanked with glass elevators. Let's take a look at the common areas on the inside of the ship.
