Wind Surf Sailing Ship Cabin #153 with Queen Bed

Wind Surf's standard staterooms include a queen bed (converts to two twins), two chairs, a vanity/desk area, a flat screen TV, DVD/CD player (for complimentary movies from the library), and Bose SoundDock speakers (for Apple iPod Nanos loaded with a broad selection of music and complimentary check-out from reception). The cabin is white with wood trim, and is very pleasing to the eye. The cabin has two portholes and plenty of storage, with lots of closet, shelf, and drawer space. The beds are wonderful--custom Sealy Posturepedic Premium Plush Euro-Top mattresses covered with luxurious cotton bed linens and duvets. The cabin also has a safe and mini-bar.

The bath has a shower with two shower heads, one attached and one handheld. The two mirrored storage cabinets allow for plenty of storage. The lighting in the bathroom is too dark for makeup application, so I used the vanity desk in the cabin. The vanity desk has both 110-volt and 220-volt outlets. Passengers will enjoy the bathroom amenities from L'Occitane and the Egyptian-cotton towels and waffle terry spa bathrobes.

For groups or families traveling together, 6 of the staterooms have 4 berths and 35 cabins have an extra Pullman berth that pulls down from the wall.

The 31 suites on deck 3 were added in a 1998 refit, and they were created by combining two standard cabins. Therefore, the suites have two bathrooms and a larger sitting area.

One cabin feature that I loved was the wireless connectivity for my computer in the cabin.
