Moscow - Russian Rivers and Waterways Port of Call

Moscow is a wonderful city to visit, and travelers on river ship cruise tours to St. Petersburg spend a few days in Moscow like I did with Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises. Moscow was our last port on the cruise tour, and we had about four days to see most of the highlights. Our first day we did an overview driving tour and rode the subway under the Mockba (Moscow) River to Red Square. We spent the night on the M/S Rossia, but checked into the Holiday Inn the next day after touring the State Armory and the Kremlin. Our second evening in Moscow we enjoyed the singing and dancing at the National Russian Show. The third day in Moscow started with a visit to the Central Museum of the Armed Forces and ended with the Moscow Circus. Our last day in Moscow, we ventured out to nearby Star City, the training ground for the Russian cosmonauts. We flew home very early in the morning of our last day in Moscow.
