The Liberty of the Seas cruise ship was launched in May 2007 by Royal Caribbean International. These 36 pictures show the Liberty of the Seas from construction through her inaugural month. The construction pictures on the first page of this photo gallery of the Liberty of the Seas were taken at the Aker Shipyards in Turku, Finland. They show the "float out" of the Liberty of the Seas in August 2006, and the interior construction as of February 2007.
The 3600+ passenger Liberty of the Seas equals the Freedom of the Seas as the world's largest cruise ship, and has all the amenities that cruise passengers love from the Freedom such as the surf simulator, water park, ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall and boxing ring. Pages 2 and 3 of this Liberty of the Seas photo gallery show photos of the new ship during her inaugural month.
