A wonderful time with wonderful sevice. We could not have asked for a better cruise. The food was very good. Dining timely, not a hassle. More activities than we could possibly take in. The "biologist" on the cruise added so much! Evening shows were okay. Princess' version of "Princess Idol" was a blast, met many great people, especially the service staff. Ask about their story and you learn so much. Our room was always clean and our porter was helpful.
Mainly found our own exersions off the ship. Locals can tell you the best "off the beaten path" excursions. Be careful about getting back to ship in time. Do excursions immediately so that you don't get detained and not make it back. Disembark went well. Get up early last day, very busy at eateries. Where else can you exercise on a tread mill and see whales swimming ahead of you? Real humpbacks! The glaciers were such an experience! Evening deck time and sunsets so relaxing.
We had inside cabin and no ship sway. Just like a hotel room where you don't open the draperies. Would not spend money on balcony, we just didn't spend that much time in our cabin. Please make plans to go and enjoy.
