The Norwegian Gem cruise ship entered service on October 2007, and was named in New York in December 2007, after spending her first few months sailing in Europe. She is a beautiful new ship and looks much like her sister ship the Norwegian Pearl launched in December 2006.
The interior public areas on the Norwegian Gem are bright, with lots of crushed velvet and brilliant colors, adding to the festive atmosphere onboard.
