Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is tantalizing the cruising public with artist's renderings of its third generation of cruise ships, logically labeled "F3" for Freestyle Cruising, Generation 3. The first ship will be named the Norwegian Epic. On April 24th, 2008 at Aker Yards in France NCL laid the keel for the new ship, and the cruise line is slowing releasing artist's renderings of some of the innovative elements of the Norwegian Epic. Many of the cabins on the Norwegian Epic will have curved walls, and all will have a separate toilet and shower. Four of the five new lounges announced thus far are adult-only and will either be exclusive for the passengers in the villas, or require a cover charge. Sounds good for those who like to escape the mass market and/or family cruisers!
