This statue of Hans Christian Andersen greets visitors to Copenhagen. When Hans Christian Andersen was alive, he loved to have his photo made, and most tourists (including me) continue to accommodate his wish. Note how shiny his knees are! That's from everyone sitting on his lap for their memory picture from Copenhagen.
