Cruise of the Hawaiian Islands on the NCL Pride of America

Fantastic First Cruise - my wife and two friends of ours recently had our first trip to Hawaii and our first cruise. We chose the Pride of America to cruise around the Hawaiian islands even though we had read mixed reviews pertaining to the ship.

Maybe we are more easily pleased than some people or possibly NCL has made great improvements on the Pride of America, but all four of us thought the cruise was great. We found nothing to complain about - the service was good, the food was great, all the staff was friendly, and the ship was very clean. Even though we didn't always set our cabin door indicator to "Make Up Cabin", our room was straightened every day and our bed was turned down each evening. Every staff member we passed in the hallways always offered a greeting. The on/off procedures were very efficient at every port - we never waited more than a few minutes. We would recommend this ship to anyone and a visit to the Hawaiian Islands is a must. We hated to leave but we told ourselves we will go back one day!
