The Jewel of the Seas has many onboard dining options, and the food ranges from good to excellent. The two-deck main dining room (Seaside on deck 4 and Tides on deck 5) serves three meals each day, with two seatings for dinner. A portion of Tides is set aside for "my time" dining for those who elect to not participate in one of the fixed seatings.
The two premium restaurants on the Jewel of the Seas are Portofino Italian Restaurant and Chops Grille. Both of these are excellent and feature exceptional service and food for the extra charge.
The Windjammer Cafe is the casual buffet venue. With multiple stations, we never had a line, even at the busiest times. The food is varied at the Windjammer, with salads, hot and cold dishes, and a good selection of desserts, including soft serve ice cream.
The Jewel of the Seas also has casual dining in the Seafood Shack on deck 12 and the Solarium Cafe near the spa.
