Jewel of the Seas Cabin - Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas

Photos of Deluxe Oceanview Balcony Stateroom #8060 on the Jewel of the Seas

By , About.com Guide

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 11-night cruise on the Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas roundtrip from London (Harwich) to France, Ireland, Scotland, and the Norwegian fjords. We booked adjoining deluxe oceanview balcony cabins #8060 and #8062. The deck 8 mid-ship location of these cabins was excellent, and we all thought the cabins had excellent storage space, comfortable beds, and a nice shower with glass door (rather than a curtain). The cabins also had a love seat and table, and the balconies had two nice chairs and a small table.

The only drawback we saw to these particular cabins was the unfortunate placement of the window-washing equipment between cabins #8060 and #8058. Although this equipment was less than two feet wide, it partially obstructed the balcony view from both cabins throughout our cruise. It seemed that every time we were trying to make photos, the thing was in the way! The views from cabins on the decks above and below this location would be also impacted.
