The M/S Rossia Russian river ship of Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises sails the 800 miles between Saint Petersburg and Moscow on the rivers, lakes, and canals connecting the two large cities. I cruised on the M/S Rossia in July 2007 and loved the ship and its itinerary. The sun deck area is especially nice, with padded teak chairs that are perfect for reading, dozing, or just watching the scenery and river traffic. The Rossia also has a wide promenade deck extending around the outside of all the cabins on the three other passenger decks. These decks also have a few chairs for those seeking solitude or a quiet space.
