I wish I could say I made these spring tulip pictures at the Keukenhof Gardens near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, but, like George Washington, "I cannot tell a lie". I can't even say that I grew them in my garden!
A small ship spring Holland tulip cruise was long on my list of "dream cruises", and I was fortunate to sail the waterways of the Netherlands in April 2002 on the Viking River cruise ship the Viking Europe. I brought back some wonderful photos of tulips from Keukenhof and from the Floriade. One thing for sure -- flowers will brighten up a gloomy winter day and remind us that spring is just around the corner.
