Bordeaux Chateaux, Wineries, and Vineyards

By , About.com Guide

The Bordeaux region is the most important wine producing region in France. Small and mid-sized cruise ships can sail up the Gironde River to the city of Bordeaux, and cruise ship passengers can take bus tours of the Bordeaux wine region. We disembarked the Crystal Symphony at Soulac-sur-Mer and had a bus tour through the Bordeaux wine region, ending the tour in the city of Bordeaux. The chateaux and vineyards were beautiful, and we all learned a lot about French wine-making and the history of the Bordeaux wine region.

Below are pictures of just a few of the 7,000 chateau in Bordeaux.
