We started with the control center, which was filled with monitors for all of the important functions of the ship, including the sewer, electrical, and fire systems. We donned earplugs and went further down into the ship to see the water filtration and recycling operations. It was impressive to learn how significantly the black and gray water of the ship is purified before discharge. I was amazed at the size and the cleanliness of all these parts of the ship.
Our tour ended with a visit to the galley and a peek at some of the stores, each with its own temperature control. There was even a "coffin store". In the galley, the chefs and crew were efficiently preparing dinner. Overall, the tour provided an excellent look at the workings of the Eurodam.
