The Emerald Princess Theater seats 800 and has a 36-foot proscenium arch stage. All of the seats have a good view of the stage, but the lack of a middle aisle makes getting into and out of the seats a little difficult.

The theater is used during the day for port lectures, Scholarship@Sea Presentations, and educational programs. At night, the theater is used for large production shows from the Emerald Princess singers, dancers, and orchestra or guest entertainers. The show troupe did four shows, including one premier. We enjoyed them all, as did the rest of the audience. The other entertainment in the theater included performers who sang or made us laugh. All evening shows are presented twice to allow all passengers a chance to attend.
