Princess Cruises launched the Emerald Princess cruise ship in April 2007, and the new ship was officially named on Mother's Day in May 2007. These pictures of the new 113,000-ton, 3070-passenger Emerald Princess cruise ship, which is very similar to the Crown Princess launched in 2006, were provided by Princess Cruises not long after the ship was launched.
