The Disney Magic has three swimming pools - one for adults only, one for families, and a third for kids. The adult pool is much quieter than the other two pools. A large screen used for movies, videos, and special events like the Super Bowl, overlooks the family pool. The kids' pool is shaped like a Mickey head and includes a large water slide that all the children love. We watched some of them going up the stairs and down the slide dozens of times.
Deck 9, the pool deck, also has casual eateries and free soft drinks and cups of water from a machine.
The exterior of the ship is classic, dressed out in the "Mickey Colors" -- red, yellow, black, and white. It's not hard to identify the Disney Magic, with Goofy hanging off the bow and Mickey ears decorating both of the smokestacks.
Note: The Disney Magic underwent a significant makeover in 2012, and some of these outdoor deck areas look different. Check out this article on the AquaDunk and other water park areas to see some of the changes.
