Many evenings, the Terrace Cafe is transformed into an intimate reservations-only, no extra charge theme restaurant with a fixed menu served at one seating for a maximum of 50 guests at 7:45 pm. Several of the dinner menus in the Terrace Cafe have an international theme. For example, our cruise featured dinners from Scandinavia, Italy, the Orient, and France. The Terrace Cafe also had a seafood dinner and a chef's signature dinner. We dined in the Terrace Cafe three times and enjoyed every meal. My favorite was the "Lobster on the Veranda" theme, which had lobster salad, lobster bisque, lobster appetizer, and a lobster entree. Get the idea? Each of these dishes was absolutely a dream come true for a lobster-lover like me.
Silversea plans to change the Terrace Cafe on the Silver Cloud into an Italian specialty restaurant called La Terrazza.
