The dual docking in late April 2008 marked a rare event for Regent Seven Seas and its passengers. The line's international itineraries seldom allow the ships to simultaneously travel the same regions of the world, let alone meet in the same port. Seven Seas Mariner was in the midst of a 12-night Bermuda roundtrip cruise from Fort Lauderdale; Seven Seas Voyager was nearing the completion of a 17-day transatlantic voyage from Piraeus, Greece to Fort Lauderdale on the final leg of its 2008 World Cruise.
In honor of this mid-voyage meeting, Regent Seven Seas hosted a dual-vessel, bloody mary cocktail party, welcoming guests to visit either ship for a celebration that began at 10 a.m. and lasted through the day.
Although the Bermuda meeting of the Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager was unusual, the Seven Seas Navigator also visited Bermuda in April.
