The Carnival Magic lives up to her "fun ship" name by including such exciting features as the Waterworks aqua park, with its huge water slides; the Redfrog Pub with Carnival's own private-label beer, appropriately named ThirstyFrog Red; Cucina del Capitano, an Italian family-style restaurant; and Ocean Plaza, the hub of the ship, which is filled with bars and entertainment.
Children will love the indoor and outdoor facilities on the ship, as well as the planned activities for their age group. Adults will appreciate the Cloud 9 Spa and fitness area and the Serenity deck area reserved just for them.
The Carnival Magic will spend her first summer in the Mediterranean and then reposition across the Atlantic to her new homeport of Galveston, Texas, where she will begin 7-night cruises to the Caribbean. The ship will be the largest sailing from Galveston on a year-round basis.
