The Wind Surf raises her sails in Barbados and crosses the Atlantic for the summer season on March 21, and passengers will enjoy two whole weeks at sea before arriving in Lisbon. The Oceania Regatta sails from Miami for Europe the same day, stopping in Madeira and Morocco before disembarking in Barcelona after a 14-day cruise.
Numerous other ships that have wintered in the Caribbean will be heading for Europe in April. These ships include the Fred Olsen Line Boudicca, Wind Star, and Azamara Journey.
Panama Canal cruises in the spring and fall are sometimes marketed as repositioning cruises, although most ships visit several ports of call along the way. Two Princess ships - the Coral Princess and Island Princess - will leave Florida in April 2010 for Vancouver, sailing through the Panama Canal and coast of Mexico and the western USA.
