Yield: 1 large cup of coffee; 1 serving
- 3 sugar cubes
- 1 ounce Asbach Uralt brandy
- 1 cup of brewed, hot black coffee
- whipped cream
- sugar flavored with vanilla
- dark chocolate flakes
Place three sugar cubes in a coffee cup, preferably an original Rudesheim coffee cup. Add 1 ounce (4 centiliters) of well-warmed Asbach Uralt brandy and set alight with a long match. The liquor can be warmed in a microwave for about 1 minute.
Stir using a long spoon to dissolve the sugar and allow it to burn for about 1 minute. Fill the cup with hot coffee to about 2 centimeters (3/4 inch) under the rim.
Top with whipped cream sweetened with vanilla sugar and sprinkle with dark chocolate flakes.
