The Carnival Dream has several dining venues with a wide variety of cuisines featured. The two main dining rooms are the 1,180-seat Scarlet Restaurant and the 828-seat Crimson Restaurant. Scarlet has some tables with window views. Both restaurants are very red, as is shown in the photos below.
The 139-seat Chef's Art is the deck 12, reservations-only, steakhouse specialty restaurant with a $30 per person surcharge. Since I was only on the Carnival Dream for three nights, I didn't have a chance to try Chef's Art, but if it's as good as the Harry's Supper Club on the Carnival Liberty, it will be worth the fee.
The Gathering is the Lido Deck buffet restaurant, serving three meals a day and an excellent variety of cuisines, including Mongolian wok, Mexican, Indian Tandoor, a pasta bar, pizza, grill, and deli.
Sushi lovers will enjoy the Wasabi Sushi Bar, which is open in the late afternoon, and those with a sweet tooth will need to stop by the Plaza Cafe patisserie.
