Carnival Conquest Cruise Review
Western Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Conquest

From "My 3-Year Old Can't Sleep"

Cruise Line: Carnival Cruises
Cruise Ship: Carnival Conquest
Cruise Dates: June 2007
Cruise Destination: Western Caribbean - Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel
Guest Contributor: "My 3-Year Old Can't Sleep"

Our first cruise experience was completely shadowed by the fact that our room was directly above the Blue's Piano Bar, which is the LOUDEST place on the entire ship at night. This is a sing-along piano bar where up to 100 drunk people and a singer/piano player are singing at the top of their lungs and banging on the bar with their bottles until 1:45am every night (except Wednesday). We felt like they were in our cabin with us. It was so loud that we could hear every word - even over the television. I find it inexcusable that a family with a small child could be booked in this room without being informed of the noise problem. My 3 year-old daughter couldn't get enough sleep at night. I have video of her crying and saying "please tell the people to be quiet". We weren't able to go on any excursions, since that requires getting up very early in the morning. Our cruise was completely sold-out so we couldn't change rooms. My husband and I are very upset and wish that we had picked a different vacation.
