St. Barthelemy (often called St. Barts, St. Bart's, St. Barths, or St. Barth's) was named by Christopher Columbus for his brother. Today St. Barts is one of the most luxurious and expensive islands in the Caribbean. St. Barts is the resort home to many celebrities, including Harrison Ford. Not many cruise ships visit St. Barts, and those that do visit are usually smaller boutique ships. St. Barts covers an area of only eight square miles, so renting a car and driving around the island is relatively easy. You might get lost, but not for long!
