Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands

Peter Island is a private island on the Sir Francis Drake Channel in the British Virgin Islands south of Tortola. Most people think of the island as the home of the luxury Peter Island Resort, but many sailing ships and boats such as the Arabella anchor in the harbor and take advantage of the swimming, snorkeling, and hiking opportunities.

Oceans7 is a delightful bar and restaurant right on the beach of Peter Island. We dined ashore there from the Arabella, and it seemed to be a favorite of others who were anchored in the Peter Island harbor.
