The 22-passenger Safari Quest of American Safari Cruises has a marvelous, diverse itinerary in the Sea of Cortez. However, when passengers are not hiking, mule riding, or exploring the islands and quiet bays of the Sea of Cortez, the ship's crew has many activities designed to keep the passengers entertained. Reading and relaxing are the most popular activities, but snorkeling, sea kayaking, water sports, and riding the inflatable Zodiac also make the days fly by.
The Safari Quest provides "skins", wet suits, and gear for all the passengers to go snorkeling. With the water temperature in the 60's it certainly helps! The inflatable is used every day to go ashore, wildlife watching, or for water sports like skiing or tubing. Sea kayaking is an excellent way to explore the many picturesque bays of the Sea of Cortez, and using a kayak was easy.
The days in the Sea of Cortez are sunny, and the Safari Quest crew has enough planned to keep you as busy (or as un-busy) as you choose!
