The Silverbow Inn is located in the historic 1914 Messerschmidt Building in downtown Juneau. The small, quaint hotel has 11 modern rooms and somehow manages to feature all the expected modern amenities without sacrificing the charming, friendly environment of a bed and breakfast. The lobby has a homey, welcoming feel, with a large antique table, chairs, general-use computer, and a good selection of Alaska guide books, old Juneau photo albums, and information on restaurants, activities, and hiking trails in and around Juneau.

All rooms come with a full breakfast at the adjoining Silverbow Bakery & Cafe, which features a wide selection of great bagel sandwiches along with other interesting breakfast choices. This cafe does a good business with locals, which speaks well of the quality, and it also serves soups, sandwiches, and salads for lunch and dinner.

The eleven rooms at the Silverbow Inn are modern and clean and furnished with dark wood and earth-tone accents.
