When on a cruise on the Regent Seven Seas' Seven Seas Mariner, our bus return from the White Pass Railway excursion included a 45-minute stopover at the beautiful Yukon Suspension Bridge. This narrow, swinging bridge crosses the Tutshi River Canyon and is located on the South Klondike Highway, just a few miles north of the White Pass Railway train station. The Yukon Suspension Bridge is relatively new, and we felt quite safe when crossing the raging whitewater river 57-feet below. The views, sounds of the river, and historical exhibits are definitely worth adding the Yukon Suspension Bridge onto your train or bus excursion from Skagway.
