With several cruise ships visiting the city each day during the busy summer cruise season, the small town seems to burst at the seams.
We stayed overnight in Juneau before embarking on our Cruise West Spirit of Yorktown cruise of Alaska's Inside Passage in 2007. I also visited Juneau in late August 2008 on the Seven Seas Mariner, the day after John McCain selected Governor Sarah Palin for his running mate, so we walked to the Governor's Mansion to check it out. (No one was at home.) These photos capture a few of the things to see and do in Juneau.
