Luxor - Sonesta St. George Hotel on the Nile River at Luxor

The Sonesta St. George Hotel is on the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor. It is a nice hotel, with lovely common areas and good buffets. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable and with great balconies overlooking the Nile. We had stayed at the Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza earlier on our Silversea cruise tour, and it is one of the most luxurious hotels I have ever seen. So, the Four Seasons had set a very high standard, but I would certainly recommend the Sonesta to others traveling to Luxor.
