The Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo at Nile Plaza is one of the top-ranked hotels in Africa and in the world. The luxury hotel has beautiful, spacious rooms, with marvelous baths. Many of the rooms have a large balcony overlooking the Nile River; others overlook the beautiful pool area. When the sky was clear, we could even see the pyramids at Giza a few miles away. The flower arrangements in the lobby and common areas were spectacular. The eight restaurants at the Four Seasons at Nile Plaza are diverse and innovative, with some of the best cuisine in Cairo.
I stayed at the Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza as part of a pre-cruise extension from the Silversea Silver Whisper before a Red Sea cruise, and returned six years later to stay at the same hotel while on a Nile River cruise tour on the River Tosca of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. These luxury cruise lines certainly know how to select the best accommodations for their passengers to enjoy before or after their cruise!
