I sailed in cabin #214 on the Viking Prestige, which is a category B cabin on deck 2 with a French balcony. Like all of the cabins on the ship other than the suites, this one measures 170 square feet (the same size as the deluxe cabins on the Viking Europe, Viking Neptune, Viking Pride, and Viking Spirit). I was very happy with this Viking Prestige cabin. It had all the features that are sometimes missing on other ships, such as several plug-ins (both 115v and 220 v); a make-up/shaving mirror; nice-sized bath with excellent glass-doored shower; generous storage space (drawers, shelves, and closet); a drawer under the vanity table; two reading lights by the bed(s); curtains that completely darken the room when closed; and small refrigerator. The cabin was large enough to include two chairs and a small table next to the French balcony windows.
All of the Viking Prestige cabins have hotel-style beds that can be made up as queen-sized or twin. The cabins and suites on decks 2 and 3 (the middle and upper decks) have French balconies, while the cabins on deck 1 (the lower deck) have half-height windows. In addition to the features discussed above, all accommodations also include a telephone, safe, hair dryer, individual climate control, and large 26" flat screen television with video on demand, plus several news and sports channels.
