Travel Dynamics International Lifestyle:

Travel Dynamics International (TDI) has been operating small cruise ships since 1969. The company primarily focuses on educational cruises to destinations in North America, Europe, South America, Africa, and Antarctica. Onboard dress is country club casual.

Travel Dynamics International Cruise Ships:

TDI operates four small cruise ships:
  • Callisto - The 34-guest Callisto sails the eastern Mediterranean
  • Corinthian - The 100-guest Corinthian sails exotic itineraries, including a grand voyage to West Africa
  • Corinthian II - The 114-guest Corinthian II is a sister ship to Corinthian and primarily sails the Mediterranean. The ship's ice-strengthened hull allows her to also sail Antarctic itineraries.
  • Yorktown - The 138-guest Yorktown sails the Great Lakes, New England/Atlantic Canada, and Central American itineraries.

Travel Dynamics International Passenger Profile:

Passengers on the TDI ships are those who are interested in lifelong learning and have an interest in history, culture, and nature. The cruises feature onboard experts who lecture on a variety of topics, and all shore excursions are included in the fare. Of course, those who are not interested in lectures or just want to stay onboard and enjoy the ship are welcome, but most TDI guests are engrossed in the destinations and want to expand their physical horizons.

Travel Dynamics International Accommodations and Cabins:

You won't find any balcony cabins or large suites on the TDI ships. However, on a small ship, it won't take long to get from your cabin to the outdoors!

Travel Dynamics International Cuisine and Dining:

Breakfast and lunch are both served buffet style, and dinner is a five-course a la carte dinner with Continental European cuisine. All meals are open seating and served either in the ship's restaurant or outdoors on the sun deck, weather permitting. House wine and beer are complimentary with lunch and dinner. Room service is also available.

Travel Dynamics International Onboard Activities and Entertainment:

As noted earlier, most of TDI's guests are interested in learning about the cruise destinations, so much of the onboard time is filled with expert lecturers who lead discussions on the ports, culture, history, art, and flora/fauna/geology of the area. Many of the lecturers are world-class scholars, authors, or educators. Some are familiar names, like past lecturers Marvin Kalb, Peter Hillary, and Paul Volcker.
