Le Boreal is a small, slender ship carrying about 260 guests. Compagnie du Ponant launched the ship in 2010, and it was joined by an identical sister ship, L'Austral, in 2011. The company has ordered a third ship in the series, which will be delivered in June 2013.
To match her sleek exterior, Le Boreal has chic, contemporary interiors. The cabins are lovely and well-appointed, and the common areas are both stylish and comfortable. The ship sails worldwide itineraries that include expedition cruising in the Arctic and Antarctic. She's certainly one of the most luxurious expedition ships afloat!
