When I was cruising the Ohio River on the American Queen, many people gathered along the riverfront to gawk at this gorgeous steamboat. Going ashore, several asked me "what does it look like on the inside"? I'm happy to say that the cabins and interior decor of the American Queen matches the exterior perfectly. Although the riverboat was constructed in the mid-1990's, the designers faithfully replicated the Victorian ambiance of the 19th century on both the exterior and interior of the boat.
These photos provide a tour of the interior common areas on the American Queen steamboat, which sails the great rivers of middle America, including the Upper and Lower Mississippi, the Ohio, and the Tennessee.
