The Renaissance R3 - Pictures from Around the Ship
(click on each thumbnail photo to enlarge)
The interior of the R3 is grand and looks like an English mansion. The atmosphere is formal, yet very relaxing and cozy. All of the other passengers I spoke with agreed that the ship's interior design is magnificent, and these photos demonstrate a little of the atmosphere on the ship. Note that I made all of these pictures early one morning when everyone else was asleep!
The Club Restaurant is the largest and most elegant of the three shipboard
restaurants. No reservation is required, and the windows on three sides
give you a good view of the South Pacific day or night.
The reception area is the first place you see when you board the ship.
The library is one of the prettiest places on the R3. It's a great
place to relax with one of the good books on its many shelves. The lone
reader is my camera-shy dad. He's an early bird, too. I found him
here when on my early morning photo expedition, and couldn't resist getting him
in this shot. He especially enjoyed the large selection of
"large-print" books in the library and the jigsaw puzzle that was a
work-in-progress the entire cruise.
