(click on each thumbnail picture to enlarge) Note: I cruised on the Renaissance Cruise Line's ship the R3 in December 2000. The ship was recently purchased by Princess and has been re-christened the Pacific Princess. The ship was beautiful, and I'm delighted to see that Princess will continue to sail her and her sister ship the Tahitian Princess (previously the R4). The Pacific Princess at the dock in Papeete, Tahiti in the Society Islands of French Polynesia. That's not a reflection you see on the left--it's the Tahitian Princess, one of the Pacific Princess' sister ships, also at the dock. The next picture is of the Pacific Princess in the bay at Huahine. My suite, 6024, a "D" level cabin on deck 6 of the Pacific Princess. The curtains are covering my balcony. I bought the flowers on the desk the first day in Papeete for 500 CFP (about $4), and they were still fresh and beautiful 10 days later! The room was bright and airy when the curtains were open. I LOVED the balcony. I'm not sure I can cruise again without one!
Photos from the common areas around the ship. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. If you are wondering where all the people are, I got up very early one morning to shoot these pictures! Don't forget to click on each small photo to enlarge!
