Our first day in Tahiti we were off the ship bright and early to go shopping at the market a couple of blocks from the ship. There are also several banks within walking distance of the ship where you can exchange your money.
This market in Papeete was full of delightful surprises - everything from tourist souvenirs to exotic fish.
