Visiting
a Motu Near Raiatea
Our first day in Raiatea was a glorious day with the sun shining and the water a delicious turquoise blue. We had decided to do a "Motu Snorkeling and Pearl Farm Visit" shore excursion from the Renaissance R3. A small covered boat took us to a beautiful motu near Raiatea's sister island of Tahaa. We snorkeled in quintessential South Seas water - perfectly clear and warm. We sat on the white sand or at small tables on the beach and drank ice cold drinks. What a great way to spend the morning!
