Crane Cottage on Jekyll Island, Georgia. This is the largest of the private residences built by the Jekyll Island Club Members.  Richard Crane, its owner, founded the Crane Company, which built fluid control equipment and plumbing fixtures.  This company was the first to make white bathroom fixtures.  The Crane Cottage has 17 bathrooms, which was practically unheard of in the early 1900's.  Crane cottage is one of the most recent renovations on the island.
