If you venture off the main roads and onto the rustic bike trails in the center of the island, you'll be rewarded with views of quiet "alligator" ponds like this one.  (No gators today, but if you look close you might see them lurking in the waters below.  Don't stop your hiking or biking long unless you have plenty of bug spray on!
